Due to their peculiar properties as for instance high electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and adaptable shape, these magnetic conductive liquids offer an extended potential of applications in various domains. The properties and applications of the Smart-fluids^® are indeed at the junction of three kinds of materials, the characteristics of which are summarized on the diagram below.
